This is an absolute failure in designed......That is of course great success if ALL of your plugs are wired with straight in wiring such as a lamp plug etc. The greatest majority of three prong grounded plugs are 90 degrees to the attached wire. What does that mean in this application. Well, it means that when you plug in one 3 prong wire lead say on the left side the protruding wire lies across the plug outlet on the right side preventing you access to that out let plug, so you have to use the next one up. or use all three on the right or all three on the left. So basically you have a 6 outlet receptacle BUT you can only USE 3 of the six plugs. All they needed to do to make it functional was have the grounds on the outside edges instead of the middle section. So this is why the one star rating.
