The seat cushions are firm enough to support an adult, but not too firm that it’s uncomfortable. This is a small space couch. If you are looking for something an adult can lay down on and still fit, this isn’t it. I’m 5’ 6” and my feet just barely hang off when laying on the chaise lounge.

This was a gift for my 10 year old in her hang out space. It is PERFECT for that. She and her friends have plenty of room and fit well on it.

Overall it’s a great piece for the price. The back has some recline to it, which makes it super cozy! I was comfortable sitting with her while watching a movie. It was easy to put together, only took a few minutes. No hardware, pieces just slide in together. The cushions have Velcro on the back sides to keep them in place, which I thought was a GREAT touch. There’s nothing more annoying than having to fix couch cushions that have slid out a bit. It could use a few throw pillows to dress it up, but otherwise I have zero complaints and I would definitely purchase again.
