I didn''t buy these for elderly people, 300lb + people, or extremely skinny, tall, or other irregular shaped people. I am 5''10 240lbs, size 38 jeans. I have roughly 2-3 inches on both sides of me when i sit in this chair. My wife is 180lbs 5''6 and has no problem reclining in the chair nor putting the foot rest back in it''s place, and she is extremely comfortable while reclining in any position. You -can- just use the heat without the massage, you just have to click it to normal mode massage, then click on each body part individually to turn them all off. I can sit with my legs crossed in the chair while reclined and in any other comfortable position I desire without feeling the stress of keeping the chair reclined. I also can comfortable ''half-way'' recline, this is not a 100% or straight up chair as others have described. Again i am 5''10 240lbs, not a small dude.

I bought one to try out, used it to watch LOTR 1 and a few other movies and never once was uncomfortable over the course of a couple of weeks. I invited some friends over who all sat in the chair a few times for 30 minutes or so each and every single one loved it. One person was 5''4 240lbs and had no complaints. It is -slightly- smaller than a full size recliner, but mainly just in height, not sitting width. The headrest is extremely pillowy and comfortable. I had zero issues putting all 4 together, no quality issues either.

I now have 4 of these in a mancave/garage/theater room so they are not going to get daily use but so far have held up great. Again i am not running into my house and diving into the chair with my full weight, i am just using them to sit down and arrange myself in whatever position i desire while sipping adult beverages and watching movies. These are cheap price chairs, but under casual use i think they will last an extremely long time. I do not plan to use the rocking motion to stand on them and surf, nor do i plan to spin them around as fast as they can go.

If you are hard on furniture, want to throw yourself at a chair when you get off work, or use your chairs as a jungle gym, these may not be for you. If you want a budget friendly comfortable chair for average use, then this thing is an extreme hit. So again I write,, It will take you longer to unpack the chair out of the 2 boxes it comes in then to put it together. The base unit is in one box, slide the sides on and then slide the back on. Make sure the back slides all the way down and clicks in place.
Plug in the two cords and you are good to go! Vibration works well, as there are different zones you can choose or have the full body on. Be careful as you can easily be put to sleep, as I can confirm on multiple occasions.
My one complaint/gripe is when you are pulling the leg rest back down to the seat it can be a little difficult to lock back in place. Maybe once it has been used more it will loosen up.

See more I received this chair yesterday. It is everything I hoped it would be. Here''s the tip: Installing the armrest side was extremely difficult on the left and impossible on the right. I was able to get the left side to finally "seat" all the way to the bottom position required using my entire weigh and keeping it "level" all the way down. The right side, no way. I could get it to withing a couple of inches and no more. I even used a hammer with a metal probe against the runners and could not budge it down any further. After deciding brute-freaking force was not going to work, I hammered it back out then sprayed a VERY thin layer of WD40 into the channels. After that the side LITERALLY dropped perfectly into place. All of the channel insertions were difficult. If I was going to assemble another I wouldn''t even think about it, I''d spray them all. ABOUT THE CHAIR ITSELF: It is everything I hoped it would be. The size is perfect for my smallish living room (about 320 square feet). The chair is plenty roomy for me (5-7 and 150 lbs). I didn''t want a "huge over-stuffed recliner, I didn''t want to turn my small living room into the "recliner room", but I was a bit afraid the chair wouldn''t be that soft, sort of sink into, heavenly feeling chair. It is all of that. The foot rest closes up again just fine. After maneuvering the chair back up straight I plant the back of my heels against the foot rest and give it a very strong/swift shove and it clicks back into locked position. I am 72 years old but I am also very "buff" as I''ve always been. If I was feeble I probably couldn''t do that, but it does lock just fine. A big reason I bought this chair was for the 4 pockets and cup holders. I have my big screen TV hooked up to a laptop computer. I slip a wireless keyboard easily into the right pocket, along with the chair''s remote control, four different types of remote controls into the left pocket, my water bottle into the left cup holder, my computer mouse into the right cup holder. I have not used either of the front pockets and have room left over in the others. EXACTLY what I was hoping for. The back heater is strong and it CAN BE USED WITHOUT THE MASSAGE FUNCTION. The two functions ARE independent. Just select the heat selection, then "de-select" each of the the five massage locations. Massage will be completely off. It swivels and rocks smoothly, quietly. The reline position is easy to maneuver. I couldn''t be more pleased with this chair. I am blown away that is so ideal for my purposes. AND the price! After staying in this chair almost non-stop for several months, she felt that there was a "leveling" issue at the bottom of the chair. I contacted AECOJOY''s customer service. They were courteous and friendly and within a couple of days sent a free replacement for the bottom of the chair. Also, as a bonus they sent a new arm rest. I highly recommend this chair, and for the price, the quality is outstanding.
