I did exactly as they instructed, not tightening any of the main bolts until the very end. I had no problems getting the doors to line up.

Capacity: I searched around a long time to find a bar cabinet that would hold a lot of bottles and not just 3 or 4. This thing holds a ton! In the pictures, I have 22 bottles on the bottom shelf and 19 on the top shelf behind the doors! I was amazed I could fit that many.

Quality: I was pleasantly surprised that it doesn''t look cheap. And it doesn''t feel cheap either--the top of the cabinet isn''t smooth but has a nice grain feel to the touch. And the back of the cabinet actually shows the grain as well (albeit with one vertical strip of tape), when many similar cabinets would just have bare particle board on the back. The middle shelf in the cabinet doesn''t sag at all even holding 19 bottles. It feels very sturdy.

Cons: My only criticism is that they don''t give you three wine racks, especially because the top shelf has the holes pre-drilled like the center shelf (I have the flat side facing up, but you could easy have the side with the holes facing up and put in another rack if you can find something to fit).

I love how many bottles of wine you can store (15! I only have it set up for 10, though- not using the third rack), and the wood looks very nice, not cheap or flimsy at all. I''m thinking about ordering a countertop wine fridge and placing it atop. I think if I angle it just right it should fit perfectly. I will update my review later if I do this.

The only issue I had was with the magnet pieces. The screw is round and the hole on the magnet piece is oblong so it wanted to move a lot while I was screwing it in. I did end up stripping one of those out, but I''ll just have hubs drill some new holes. All in all, very easy assembly for someone with very little experience. The Cons: Wine glass metal rack was bent. Chip/crack in one of the boards. We didn’t notice until it was mostly together. It’s not enough of a problem for us to take it apart, box it all up, and send it back, but is kind of a bummer.

To know: while the piece is in general very solid/stable, the backing is that cardboard stuff that looks like wood, not actual wood. My husband put this together without me home, and says it was a hassle to attach because holes weren’t lined up correctly. We really like this piece but we have one that looks like the doors were meant for two different pieces. The handles are not level with each other and neither are the doors. We tried to do as the instructions said and loosen the bolts but that did nothing, since once the bolts are in the leg and door hinge there’s not wiggle room even before starting to tighten. Also one door is not flush to the cabinet.
