Assembly was easy with the provided tools. It does take about 45 minutes to assemble but the parts were all there (with a few extras) and the instructions are straightforward. I will say that alignment is tight, which helps add to the stability of the structure. I intentionally left screws a little loose until I had added each full shelf with all screws started. Then I tightened everything before moving on to the next shelf. With one particular shelf, I found I had to loosen the cross braces slightly to get the screws started. After the shelf was tightened, I retightened the cross braces. Zero issues and very solid structure.

Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and feel it''s a good value for the money. If I need a smaller unit, I''m definitely picking up the 4 or 3 shelf model.
